Rangers Beat Bombers, Earn Second Straight State Trip

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Mountain Iron-Buhl girl's basketball team earned a 47-42 win over Barnum on Friday night in the Section 7A championship game.

The Rangers advance to the MSHSL Class A state tournament with the section final win, their second straight and third overall trip.

Mountain Iron-Buhl will play its state quarterfinal game on March 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Arena.

The Rangers will be taking on Sleepy Eye H.S., the 2012 champion of Section 2A.
