Rangers Upset Esko, 'Hounds Fall, Spartans Win

(NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 8 Crosby-Ironton boys' basketball team trailed No. 1 Esko at halftime but pulled off the upset in the end while the Duluth East boys fell to White Bear Lake and the Superior girls' routed Eau Claire North on Saturday.

The No. 8 Rangers trailed 28-21 but rallied in the second half to beat the Eskomos 61-54 in Class AA play.

In Duluth, the Greyhounds battled back and forth with the Bears but fell down the stretch, 55-47.

On the girls' side, the Spartans made the trip to Eau Claire and ran all over the Huskies, 72-56.
