Rebels' Cisar Highlights NAHL Draft Picks

(Northland's NewsCenter) --- Five Northlanders were selected on Thursday in the 2012 North American Hockey League (NAHL) Entry Draft, with three of them going in the first round.

Moose Lake's Tyler Cisar was the top local player to be selected, going ninth overall to the Aberdeen Wings.

Also going in the first round was Duluth Marshall's Jake Bushey, who was picked 12th overall by the Kenai River Brown Bears. He was followed by Superior's Brett Bukowski, who was taken 23rd overall by the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.

Two guys then went in the later rounds, with Grand Rapids' Travis Underwood going 51st overall to the Coulee Region Chill and Duluth Marshall's Ryan Gotelaere going 155th overall to the Janesville Jets.
