Moose Lake, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Moose Lake-Willow River senior Jake Disterhaupt has been named one of 10 finalists for Minnesota's Mr. Football award, which is given each year to the state's most impressive senior high school football player.

Through 13 games this season, Disterhaupt has racked up 1,542 yards rushing with 16 touchdowns and 381 receiving yards with five scores for the Rebels.

Moose Lake-Willow River posted an undefeated record at (13-0) to reach the MSHSL Class AA championship, which is a rematch of last year's title game with Caledonia.

The Rebels have reached six straight state tournaments, and Disterhaupt has played a prominent role on every team since his freshman season.

The 2012 Minnesota Mr. Football award will be presented at a banquet on December 9 in St. Louis Park, Minn.
