St. Louis Park, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The #2-seeded Benilde-St. Margaret's girls' soccer team beat Duluth Denfeld 1-0 on Thursday night in the MSHSL Class A quarterfinals, with Emma Van der Heide's tally in the first half proving to be the difference.

Megan Lazzaro made 12 saves, several of them spectacular, in the game for the Hunters, with that program making its first state tournament appearance since 2000.

Duluth Denfeld played strong defensively throughout the entire 80 minutes, but the offense was unable to muster a shot on goal against the Red Knights.
