River Falls Beats Superior in WIAA Playoffs

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The #9-seeded River Falls baseball team pulled a 5-1 upset win on Tuesday afternoon, ending the season of #8-seeded Superior in the first round of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) playoffs.

James Witt went all seven innings for the Wildcats, allowing just the one run on three hits while striking out seven batters.

Superior ends the 2013 season with an overall record of (8-6).
