Spartans Knock Off Warriors with Home Shutout

Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- In game that was a tale of two halves, the Superior girl's soccer team mustered the only goal in a 1-0 home win over Amery.

Allison Gotelaere scored early in the second half for the Spartans, improving the team's record to (2-2) this season.

The Warriors dominated in terms of ball control in the first half but were unable to score against the Spartans' defense. Then, in the second half, Superior carried most of the play en route to the 1-0 win.
