Three Locals Taken in 2014 NAHL Draft

(NNCNOW.com) --- Three native Northland players were taken in the 2014 North American Hockey League (NAHL) Draft on Tuesday afternoon, with Duluth East graduate Meirs Moore going in the first round.

Moore was taken 21st overall by the Janesville Jets, with that pick having originally belonged to the Cloquet, Minn.-based Minnesota Wilderness.

International Falls, Minn. native Lucas Debenedet was then taken 30th overall by the Minot Minotauros, and Hermantown, Minn. native Zach Kramer was taken 118th overall by the Brookings Blizzard.
