Grand Rapids, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Grand Rapids senior volleyball player Jordan Olson has decided to play collegiately at UW-Superior, the school announced on Sunday.

The 5-foot-6 defensive specialist finished with 693 digs and 39 aces in her senior season with the Thunderhawks, earning for a second time All-Iron Rangh Conference first team honors.

"I chose UW-Superior because it was a small campus," Olson said. "It had the major I was interested in, and, along with that, I wanted to continue playing volleyball. UW-Superior has a great program that I can become a part of."

Olson, a native of Cohasset, Minn., was a three-year letter winner for the Thunderhawks and plans on majoring in chemistry at UW-Superior.
