Top Three Seeds, IFalls into Section 7A Semis

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The top three seeds and #5-seeded International Falls have advanced to the Section 7A boys' hockey semifinals, with each winning a quarterfinal game on Thursday night.

#1-seeded Duluth Denfeld got an 11-0 win over Greenway-Nashwauk-Keewatin, #2-seeded Duluth Marshall won 6-1 over Eveleth-Gilbert, #3-seeded Hibbing-Chisholm beat North Shore 6-1, and International Falls got an upset 5-3 win over #4-seeded Virginia-Mountain Iron-Buhl.

The semifinal games will be played Feb. 23, with Duluth Denfeld playing International Falls at 1:00 p.m. in Hibbing, Minn. and Duluth Marshall taking on Hibbing-Chisholm at 7:30 p.m. in Grand Rapids, Minn.
