'Toppers, 'Jacks, 'Hounds Fall on the Pitch

(NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth Marshall boys' soccer team couldn't keep up with the Academy of Holy Angels, and the Cloquet girls also fell to the Stars while Duluth East was ousted by Wayzata in high school soccer action on Saturday.

Peter Lenz scored the lone goal for the Hilltoppers in the second half to make it a 2-1 game. From there, the Stars scores four unanswered goals en route to winning 6-1.

In Cloquet, the Lumberjacks fell behind 3-0 at the break and couldn't get on the board in the loss.

Despite taking a first half lead thanks to a Nikki Fredrickson goal, the 'Hounds were overpowered by the Trojans in the 3-1 loss.
