Unbeaten Hawks New Top-Ranked Team in Class A

Hermantown, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Hermantown boy's hockey team moved up one spot this week to become the top-ranked team in Minnesota's Class A.

The Hawks are (16-0) so far this season, making them the last undefeated team in Minnesota's Class A.

Hermantown senior winger Jared Thomas ranks third in Class A with 28 assists this season, while goaltender Matt Mensinger ranks first in Class A with 12 wins so far this year.

GREYHOUNDS STILL HOLDING DOWN #1 SPOT IN CLASS AA

The Duluth East boy's hockey team is the last undefeated team in Minnesota's Class AA, and they are again the top-ranked team in the state this week.

The Greyhounds, now (17-0) this season, boast some of the best scorers in the state in seniors Jake Randolph and Dom Toninato.

Randolph ranks first among Class AA teams with 46 points this season, while Toninato sits in second with 44 points.

Junior goaltender Dylan Parker, meanwhile, also ranks first among Class AA teams with a .933 saves percentage this season.
