Wisconsin Spartan Swimmers Dive into Fall Practices

Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) -- More Wisconsin High School athletes continue to start their fall practices.

On Tuesday, girls swimming and girls tenning were able to beging their workouts.

The Superior Spartans are the three-time defending Lake Superior Conference Champions and have around 35 swimmers trying out for this year's team.

Among those trying out includes Kaitlin Heinan, who went to state a year ago.

Heinan also has set several school and pool records as a freshman and shares two of those records with senior Tori Johnson.

The coaches and swimmers have been watching plenty of the Olympic swimming races, which featured Michael Phelps and many others.
