Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The #4-ranked Lakeview Christian Academy boys' basketball team lost a close 79-72 game on Friday night, but that didn't stop senior guard Anders Broman from closing in a couple more career milestones.

Broman scored 39 points in the loss, putting him just eight points away from reaching the career 4,000-points plateau and 94 away from the all-time Minnesota state scoring record.

The Lions also got 22 points from sophomore Bjorn Broman in the loss, dropping them to (2-2) this season.

Broman should reach the 4,000-points mark in Lakeview Christian Academy's next game, which is set for 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 15 at Ordean East Middle School in Duluth, Minn.
