Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- After going winless in 2013, the Duluth East football team is hoping for better results this fall which started with a new approach to two-a-days as Minnesota teams were allowed to put pads on for the first time Monday.

Head coach Joe Hietala said his guys are doing things differently this fall camp and hopes it'll pay dividends when the season starts.

"We came into camp, and we kind of changed up our protocol of how two-a-days worked and what we're emphasizing," said Hietala. "It's been a lot of fun for the kids, a lot of fun for the coaches. They come excited to be at practice everyday."
