Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth East boys' hockey team has been to the past five MSHSL Class AA tournaments, meaning there are more than a few players on this year's team with experience playing at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Greyhounds, seeded fourth, are hopeful that experience will prove useful this week as the program makes its sixth-straight appearance in the Class AA tournament.

"The most I feel down there is a lot of school pride," senior defenseman Alex Trapp said. "I get goosebumps sometimes when I hear the school song at the 'X.' To be able to play there in front of so many people, I'm happy I was able to do something good for my school."

Duluth East will play Eagan, seeded fifth, in Thursday's quarterfinal round, with that game scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. at the Xcel Energy Center.
