  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native and University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) commit Dominic Toninato has been named to the all-United States Hockey League (USHL) second team, the league announced on Wednesday afternoon.

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Samantha Smingler has been named the new head volleyball coach at Duluth East, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon by the school's athletics director Shawn Roed.

• Huskies Rally in Extras, Ends Spartans' Season

  Eau Claire, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Superior softball team jumped out to a 3-0 lead on Eau Claire North, but the Huskies rallied to win 5-4 in eight innings and advance in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) playoffs.

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Lakeview Christian Academy senior Anders Broman was named to Parade's 57th Annual All-America Basketball Team on Sunday, the lone representative from Minnesota.
