  Esko, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Esko boys' basketball team qualified for its first Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class AA tournament since 2003, and on Sunday morning learned they will play #3-seeded Hayfield in the quarterfinal round.

• Barnum Falls in Section 5A Championship

  Crosby, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Barnum boys' basketball team missed out on its first trip to state since 2007 on Friday night with a 76-56 loss to Upsala in the Section 5A championship at Crosby-Ironton High School in Crosby, Minn.

• Spartans Fall in WIAA State Semifinals

  Green Bay, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Hailey Kontny scored 20 points on Friday night, but she and Superior girls' basketball team fell 69-55 to Milwaukee Riverside in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Division 1 semifinals at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis.

• Illikainen Leads Rapids to Sixth Straight Tourney

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Grand Rapids sophomore Alex Illikainen finished with 25 points and 16 rebounds on Friday night to lead his Thunderhawks to a 64-58 win over Cloquet in the Section 7AAA championship at Duluth Denfeld High School in Duluth, Minn.

• Broman's 43 Leads Lions to State Tourney

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Lakeview Christian Academy senior guard Anders Broman scored a game-high 43 points on Friday night, leading the Lions to an 83-57 win over Cherry in the Section 7A championship game at Romano Gymnasium in Duluth, Minn.

• Eskomos, Mustangs Will Meet for 7AA Title

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Esko and Mora will meet Saturday for the Section 7AA boys' basketball championship, that after each of those teams won semifinal contests on Thursday night at Romano Gymnasium in Duluth, Minn.

• Unbeaten Cardinals Fall in State Semifinals

  Green Bay, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The previously unbeaten South Shore girls' basketball team fell 54-45 to Barneveld on Thursday afternoon in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Division 5 semifinals.
