• Hunters, Hawks Lead LSC All-Conference Picks

  (NNCNOW.com) --- The Lake Superior Conference on Tuesday announced its 2012-13 boys' hockey all-conference teams, with players from Hermantown and Duluth Denfeld leading the way. The Lake Superior Conference recently selected the following athletes to the boys hockey all-conference team.

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Both the Hermantown and Lakeview Christian Academy boys' basketball teams earned wins on Tuesday night, with each coming against a section opponent.

• Young, Talented SHS Squad Ready for State

  Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Superior boys' hockey team has just four seniors on the roster, but the team said Tuesday it is not going to use youth or inexperience as an excuse headed into the 2013 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) tournament.

• T'Hawks Dominate Section 6A Swim & Dive Finals

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Grand Rapids boys' swimming and diving team put on a dominating performance on Saturday, finishing with 580 points to win the Section 6A team championship at Lincoln Park Middle School in Duluth, Minn.

• Hawks Blank Royals, Into 5A Title Game

  Hermantown, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Hermantown boys' hockey team beat Rogers 9-0 on Saturday night and earned a place in the Section 5A championship, with the Hawks looking for a fourth straight trip to the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) tournament.

• Spartans Win Region, Onto Section Semis

  Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Superior boys' basketball team continued its path to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) tournament on Saturday night, winning the regional final by 52-42 score over Eau Claire Memorial.

• 'Hounds, T'Hawks to Meet in 7AA Final

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth East and Grand Rapids boys' hockey teams each advanced to the Section 7AA championship on Saturday with semifinal wins, with each coming at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minn.

• Hunters, 'Toppers Advance to 7A Championship

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth Denfeld and Duluth Marshall boys' hockey teams have each advanced to the Section 7A championship, with each program winning its semifinal game on Saturday.

• Hurricanes Advance to WIAA State Tourney

  Hayward, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Hayward-Spooner girls' hockey team advanced to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) tournament on Saturday night with a 3-1 win over River Falls in the Sectional 1 championship.

• Bluejackets Win Class A Consolation Title

  Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Hibbing-Chisholm girls' hockey team won the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class A consolation championship on Saturday, beating Mound Westonka 2-1 at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis.
