• Packy Paquette Meet Honors a Fellow Spartan

  Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Francis "Packy" Paquette won plenty of medals during his time in the late 1960s at Superior High School. Each year, a track meet is held to honor Packy, the Packy Paquette Invitational. This year, 11 schools competed at UW- Superior.

  Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Three members of the Superior boys' hockey team have been given all-state honors by the Wisconsin Hockey Coaches' Association (WHCA), it was announced on Tuesday.

• Duluth, Area Split Wins in All-Star Series

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth area and Northern area basketball teams split wins on Monday night in the St. Luke's Orthopedics & Sports Medicine all-star basketball game, with the Duluth boys and Northern girls taking the victories.

• LCA's Broman Misses Out on Mr. Basketball

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Park Center senior guard Quinton Hooker has been named the recipient of the 2013 Minnesota Mr. Basketball Award, beating out Lakeview Christian Academy senior Anders Broman and three other finalists for the statewide honor.

• Thunderhawks' Olson Chooses UW-Superior
