  St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Alex Toscano and Phil Beaulieu each scored two goals on Saturday afternoon as the Duluth East boys' hockey team beat Wayzata 7-3 to claim third place in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class AA tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

• Hilltoppers Claim Class A Consolation Title

  Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Connor Flaherty and Matthew Klassen each scored two goals on Saturday morning as the Duluth Marshall boys' hockey team beat Rochester Lourdes 6-5 to claim the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class A consolation championship at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis, Minn.

• Broman Passes 5,000, Lions to 7A Semis

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Lakeview Christian Academy senior guard Anders Broman became the first high school player in Minnesota to score more than 5,000 career points as he and the Lions earned a 101-83 win over Fond du Lac Ojibwe in the Section 7A quarterfinals.

• Spartans Earn First State Trip Since '95

  Schofield, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Superior girls' basketball team earned a 54-51 victory on Saturday afternoon over Oshkosh North in the Sectional 1 championship, earning the program's first trip to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Division 1 tournament since 1995.

• STA Tops H'Town in Controversial Title Game

  St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A controversial penalty called against Hermantown in the waning minutes led to a St. Thomas Academy goal with six seconds left in the game, marking the game-winning tally as the Cadets earned a third straight Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class A championship.
