REPORT: Wild's Suter Won't Win Norris

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban, not Minnesota's Ryan Suter or Pittsburgh's Kris Letang, will win the 2013 Norris Trophy as the NHL's best defenseman, that according to a report from Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos.

"Confirmed word out of Montreal and NY," Kypreos tweeted on Monday morning, "is #Canadian P.K Subban will be announced during Cup final as the winner of #NHL 2013 Norris trophy."

Subban totaled 11 goals and 27 assists this season to tie for first with Letang for most points among defensemen, with Suter finishing third with 28 points.

Suter, the first Minnesota Wild player to be a finalist for the Norris, did lead all NHL skaters with an average of 27:13 of ice time per game and logged 10 games with 30:00 or more.

The official announcement of the 2013 Norris Trophy winner will come at 4:00 p.m. on June 14 as part of this year's Stanley Cup Final.
