The New York City Marathon announced today that Kara Goucher will be running in that race on November 2nd. It's a race that can be seen on NBC6 from 2-3 P.M. that day.
Kara Goucher was in the Beijing Olympic Games in the 5,000 and 10,000 meter runs. She is coached by 3-time New York City Marathon Champion Alberto Salazar.
Goucher won the 5,000 meter run at the U.S. Olympic Trials.
Race Race Officials said in a release today that they were glad to have Goucher start her marathon road racing career at the New York City Marathon.
