Minneapolis, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Minnesota forward Seimone Augustus is the leader among a group of three Lynx players named to the all-WNBA team on Wednesday, just hours before her team plays in game two of the WNBA Finals.
Augustus was named to the all-WNBA first team, that after leading the team with 16.6 points per game in the regular season. She added to that 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest for Minnesota in the 2012 year.
Minnesota's Maya Moore and Lindsay Whalen were also named on Wednesday to the all-WNBA second team. Moore averaged 16.4 points and 6.0 rebounds in the regular season, while Whalen put up 11.4 points and 5.4 assists per contest for the Lynx.
