Istanbul, Turkey (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Minnesota Lynx forward Seimone Augustus scored a game-high 16 points on Sunday, leading the United States to an 80-61 win over Turkey in the team's final exhibition before the 2012 London Olympics.
Augustus added three assists and two rebounds for the Americans, who move to (5-0) in exhibition play ahead of a Saturday Olympic opener.
Lynx guards Maya Moore and Lindsay Whalen each scored six points in the United States' victory, with Moore also pulling down seven rebounds.
Those three and the United States will open up their 2012 Olympic schedule on July 28 against Croatia, trying for a fifth straight gold medal.
Augustus is the only Minnesota player to have previously played in the Olympics, winning a gold medal in Beijing during the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
