(NNCNOW.com) -- The Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49'ers, 34-31, to win the Superbowl XLVII.

The Ravens set the tone early in the game entering the second half with a score of 21-6.

Baltimore's Jacoby Jones set a 108 kick off return to begin the third quarter, setting a record for the longest kick return in NFL history.

Although the 49'ers slowly started to come back during the second half scoring 23 points, Baltimore held off their momentum for the Superbowl win.

After 17 seasons with the Ravens, Ray Lewis now leaves the league with a Superbowl ring and Minnesota native, Matt Birk, will get the title too.

Baltimore Quarterback Joe Flacco was named the MVP of the Superbowl.

And for the Harbaugh brother rivalry, the head coaches of each of the teams, John Harbaugh defeated his younger brother, Jim Harbaugh.
