Toronto, Ontario (NNCNOW.com) --- Todd Redmond earned his first win in the majors as the Blue Jays cruised to the win in the series finale 11-5 against Minnesota, who has now lost seven of eight and 12 of their last 16 games.
Redmond allowed just two runs in five innings work, giving up one hit. Twins hurler Scott Diamond lasted 4 2/3 innings while allowing six earned runs on eight hits.
Aaron Hicks hit a two-run homer in the top of the fifth to tie the game at two a piece until the Blue Jays pulled away. Trevor Plouffe also notched a two-run home run.
Minnesota travels to Tampa Bay to take on the Rays on Monday at 6:10 p.m.
