Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- For just the second time this season, Minnesota was shutout, and starter Scott Diamond struggled on the mound as the Twins lost to the Baltimore Orioles 6-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Diamond lasted just 5 2/3 innings for the Twins, allowing nine hits and tied a career high by giving up six earned runs.

Chris Davis, Adam Jones, and Steve Pearce all homered for the Orioles. Wei-Yin Chen pitched five scoreless innings before leaving with a strained right oblique.

Minnesota (17-17) will return to action when they host the White Sox on Monday at 7:10 p.m.
