Washington, D.C. (NNCNOW.com) --- Ryan Doumit hit the eventual game-winning RBI in the top of the 11th inning, and Joe Mauer launched a milestone home run on Saturday afternoon as the Minnesota Twins snuck by the Washington Nationals 4-3.

Mauer hit his 100th career home run in the top of the 5th to give the Twins a one-run lead. The Nationals answered with a run of their own in the bottom of the seventh to know the game at three a piece.

Kevin Correia pitched 6 1/3 innings for Minnesota, giving up just three earned runs on eight hits. Brian Dozier and Justin Morneau each added an RBI for the Twins.

Minnesota (27-31) and Washington (29-31) will meet for a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 12:35 p.m. after Friday's game was cancelled.
