St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) standout and Wild forward Justin Fontaine was the team's only free agent to file for arbitration before Saturday's 4:00 p.m. deadline, making him one of 20 to do so in the NHL.

Fontaine can still negotiate a contract with the Wild until the arbitration hearing which runs from July 20 to August 4.

The 26-year-old finished with 13 goals a season ago for the Wild which ranked as third most on the team.
