(Eden Prairie) - Even though Tuesday is generally an off-day for NFL players, it was a busy one for Vikings quarterback Brett Favre. Favre met with a league security official regarding allegations he sent lued photos and text messages to a female New York Jets employee two years ago.
ESPN reports the meeting was held at Vikings team headquarters in Eden Prairie, but no other details were immediately available.
The league has not been successful in attempts to interview the recipient of the alleged messages. Without her cooperation, the investigation reportedly could come to an end as early as this week.
Last week, Favre helped lead the Vikings to a victory over Dallas. He has been battling tendinitis in his passing elbow the past few weeks.
Sunday night, the Vikings are in Green Bay to face the Packers. Minnesota is (2-3), while Green Bay is (3-3). Lambeau Field is the sight of the Vikings last road victory. Minnesota has dropped five straight road contests, dating back to last season.
The game can be seen on KBJR6 and Range 11. Coverage begins at 6pm, with the kickoff at 7:20pm.
