Cincinnati, OH (NNCNOW.com) --- Yovani Gallardo pitched six strong innings, and Juan Francisco drove in three runs as Milwaukee shut out Cincinnati 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.

It was the Brewers' first shutout of the year, the last team in the majors to do so, and the first time they shut out the Red since 2009.

Francisco had an RBI off of a sacrifice fly and added a two-run homer. Logan Schafer had three hits for the second straight game for the Brewers.

Gallardo gave up three hits and two walks and combined with three relievers to complete the seven-hitter shutout.

Milwaukee and Cincinnati will meet in the rubber match Sunday at 12:10 p.m.
