Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Twins manager Ron Gardenhire won't be managing the American League at Tuesday's All-Star Game, but instead will take a more relaxed role in the team's dugout, and that's just fine with him.
Gardenhire will make his third All-Star Game appearance on Tuesday. In his prior two chances, Gardy's club is 2-0.
He hopes to make it 3-0 on Tuesday, and have some fun while doing it.
"Whatever John wants me to do," Gardenhire said. "Honestly, he'll manage the game. He'll have his coaching staff there. They'll be on the bases. I'll be in the dugout. Maybe in the corner smoking a cigar. If he wants to ask me a question, fire away."
