Gibson Sputters as Mariners Slip by the Twins

Seattle, WA (NNCNOW.com) --- Chris Colabello hit a two-run homer for the Twins, but Kyle Gibson lasts just five innings as the Mariners scatter nine hits and squeak by Minnesota 6-4 on Sunday afternoon to split a four-game series.

Gibson gave up seven hits and five earned runs in five innings to fall to 2-3 on the season.

Clete Thomas and Aaron Hicks each had an RBI for Minnesota.

The Twins (45-57) head home to host the Royals on Tuesday night at 7:10 p.m.
