Milwaukee, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Milwaukee Brewers centerfielder Carlos Gomez and shortstop Jean Segura were named to the National League All-Star team on Saturday night, the first selection for both players.

With the second-worst record in the National League, the Brewers will have multiple representatives for the first time since 2011.

Segura leads the NL in hits and is batting .322 with 11 homers and 33 RBIs. Gomez has had several home run saving catches with a .319 average at the plate, 13 home runs, and 41 runs batted in.

The 27-year-old and former-Twin is the first Brewers centerfielder to make the team since Dave May in 1973. And at 23, Segura is the youngest Brewers to make the NL team.
