St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Mikael Granlund scored 5:08 into overtime on Monday night to give the Minnesota Wild a 1-0 win over the Colorado Avalanche at the Xcel Energy Center, pulling the Wild to a 2-1 deficit in the best-of-seven series.

Granlund's goal squandered a phenomenal performance from Colorado goaltender Semyon Varlamov, who stopped a franchise playoff record 46 of 47 shots in the loss.

Darcy Kuemper got the start and the win for Minnesota, making 22 saves in his first career playoff shutout while making his first career playoff start.

Game four of the first-round playoff series is set for 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Xcel Energy Center.
