St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Dany Heatley scored two goals on Saturday night as the Minnesota Wild started the 2013 season with a win, beating Colorado 4-2 at the Xcel Energy Center.

Minneapolis native Zach Parise assisted on both Heatley's goals, marking the Minnesotan's first game with the Wild after being signed as a free agent this past summer.

Mikael Granlund scored his first career goal in his first-ever NHL game for Minnesota, and Pierre-Marc Bouchard also added a goal in the winning effort.

The Wild is now (1-0-0) this 2013 season and will next be in action Jan. 20 against Dallas, with that game set for 7:00 p.m. at the Xcel Energy Center.
