Hot-Hitting Mauer Again Leads Twins Past Angels

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- For the second straight night Joe Mauer was 4-for-5 at the plate with three RBI as the Minnesota Twins earned an 8-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels at Target Field.

Mauer was one of five Minnesota players to have multiple hits in the winning effort, with starting pitcher Mike Pelfrey allowing four earned runs on seven hits across five innings.

Minnesota is now (6-7) this 2013 season and will next be in action at 7:10 p.m. on April 17 for the series finle with the Angels.
