Lacy, Crosby Lead the Packers Over the Rams

St. Louis, MO (NNCNOW.com) --- The Packers first team offensive used three productive drives to get on the board as Green Bay cruised by St. Louis 19-7 in their second preseason game on Saturday night in St. Louis, Mo.

Aaron Rodgers finished the night 10 of 12 for 134 yards but without a touchdown. Green Bay settled for two field goals on the first three drives with Rodgers at the helm.

Rookie Eddie Lacy rushed for 40 yards in the first half plus an 11-yard reception. Tight end Jermichael caught four passes for 76 yards in the first half with the Packers starting wide receivers out with injuries.

Mason Crosby was 3 for 3 on field goal attempts including a 34 and 48-yarder while making a 30-yarder that was tipped at the line. Giorgio Tavecchio also made a field goal for the Packers from 38-yards while missing on a 49-yard attempt.

Vince Young opened up the second half for Green Bay and went 5 of 29 for 26 yards.

B.J. Coleman threw the lone touchdown for the Packers with a nine yard strike to Jake Stoneburner in the fourth quarter.

Green Bay return to action on Friday, August 23 when they host Seattle at 7:00 p.m.
