Leblanc, Faulk Lead Team USA Past Austria

Helsinki, Finland (NNCNOW.com) --- Hermantown native Drew LeBlanc had two assists for Team USA and former UMD defensemen Justin Faulk notched two points as the Americans beat Austria 5-3 on Saturday in the IIHF World Ice Hockey World Championship.

Erik Johnson scored two goals for the Americans and Ben Bishop made 20 saves for the U.S.

Austria jumped ahead to a two-goal lead in the first period, but the U.S. answered with four goals of their own.

Team USA returns to action on Sunday when they take on Latvia.
