St. Louis, MO (NNCNOW.com) --- Kyle Lohse pitched seven strong innings in his second outing for Milwaukee giving up just two earned runs, but the Brewers couldn't muster any offense as they fall to St. Louis, 2-0.

The Cardinals used a David Freese single in the second to get on the board and Yadier Molina hit a solo home run in the seventh to give the Cardinals the win.

Shelby Miller struck out eight in seven innings work while only allowing one hit for the Cardinals.

The loss drops the Brewers to (2-6). Milwaukee and St. Louis face off again on Saturday, April 13 at 3:15 p.m.
