Love Sets 'Wolves' Single-Season Scoring Record

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- All-Star forward Kevin Love etched his named into the history books on Monday night after setting a Minnesota Timberwolves' single-season scoring record, surpassing Kevin Garnett's 10-year-old mark.

Love needed just 36 points on Monday night to tie Garnett (1951 points) and finished with 40 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists in Minnesota's 130-120 loss to Golden State.

In March, Love broke the franchise's record for 3-pointers (142) in a season and has now made 184 threes on the year with one game left.
