Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Lynx have signed head coach Cheryl Reeve to a multi-year contract extension, the team announced on Thursday.
With Reeve on the bench, the Lynx have reached two consecutive WNBA Finals and won a league-best 67 games dating back to the start of the 2010 season.
Minnesota has posted the best regular season record in the WNBA the past two seasons, and in 2011 were crowned WNBA champions for the first time in franchise history.
Reeve, who has already spent three seasons with the team, was named the WNBA coach of the year following that 2011 championship season.
Per team policy, terms of the new deal were not released.
