St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Lynx players Seimone Augustus and Maya Moore have been voted by the fans as starters in the 2013 WNBA All-Star game, it was announced by the league on Thursday.
Augustus is making the fourth All-Star appearance of her career, while Moore will be playing in her second All-Star game.
Minnesota head coach Cheryl Reeve and assistants Jim Petersen and Shelley Patterson will be on the bench for the Western Conference, with that honor given each year to the defending conference champions.
Moore has paced the Lynx this season, averaging 17.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game while helping Minnesota to a (11-3) overall record.
Augustus has done her fair share, as well, averaging 15.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game for the Lynx despite missing the last three contests with an injury.
The 2013 WNBA All-Star game will be played at 2:30 p.m. on July 27 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
