Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Minnesota Lynx guard Maya Moore will not only start for the Western Conference at the WNBA All-Star game, but she was also the league's top-vote getter, it was announced Tuesday night during halftime of the team's game.
Moore ousted Elena Delle Donne of the Chicago Sky with 28,389, over 2,000 more than last year's leading vote getter. This will be Moore's third All-Star game as a starter.
She becomes the first ever Lynx player to do so. Moore leads the WNBA in scoring with 22.8 points per game and ranks in the top 10 in rebounding, steals, and free-throw percentage.
