Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a three-year, $16 million contract with forward Chase Budinger, that according to a report on Tuesday afternoon from Yahoo! Sports.
Re-signing Budinger was one of Minnesota's top priorities this offseason, that after the 6-foot-7 forward played just 23 games last season while battling a knee injury for much of the year.
The 25-year-old Budinger averaged 9.4 points and shot 32.1 percent from three-point range this past season, that after spending his first three professional years in Houston.
An official announcement of the agreement has not yet been made.
