McCann's Slam Sends Braves over Brewers

Miwaukee, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Atlanta snapped their 24-inning scoreless streak thanks to a grand slam from Brian McCann as the Braves avoided the sweep 7-4 against the Brewers on Sunday.

McCann hit a two out grand slam in the top of the first to lead the Braves, his 10th career grand slam.

Alfred Figaro lasted just 3 1/3 innings for Milwaukee, giving up six earned runs on nine hits.

Logan Schafer and Jonathan Lucroy each had two RBI's for the Brewers.

Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez sprained his left shoulder when he fell making a leaping catch in the fourth. Gomez is listed as day-to-day.

Milwaukee (31-43) takes the field again on Tuesday in Chicago against the Cubs at 7:10 p.m.
