St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Minnesota Wild has signed defensemen Stu Bickel and Guillaume Gelinas as well as forward Brett Sutter to two-way contracts of varying lengths, the team officially announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Bickel gets a one-year deal after he played last season with Hartford of the American Hockey League (AHL), collecting one goal and seven assists.

Gelinas, meanwhile, gets a three-year, entry-level contract coming from the Queben Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), where he was named the top defenseman of 2013-14 after totaling 23 goals and 68 assists this past winter.

Sutter, finally, signed a two-year contract after playing 17 games last season with the Carolina Hurricanes, totaling one goal and one assist in those contests. He also played 62 games with Charlotte in the AHL, finishing that stretch with 15 goals and 29 assists.
