Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- All five starters scored in double digits on Tuesday night for the Minnesota Lynx as that franchise earned an 88-63 win over Atlanta to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five WNBA Championship Series.
Seimone Augustus led the way with 20 points in the winning effort, but she was aided by 14 points from both Lindsay Whalen and Maya Moore. Rebekkah Brunson contributed with 12 and Janel McCarville with 11 in the game.
Minnesota is now one win away from its second WNBA Championship Series win in the past three seasons, with the last coming in the 2011 season.
Game three of the best-of-five series will be played Oct. 10 at Gwinnett Center in Atlanta, Ga., with that game set to start at 7:30 p.m. CT.
