London, England (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love scored 10 points and the United States men's basketball team beat Australia 119-86 to advance to the semifinals of the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games.
Love added 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double for the Americans, a team that was led by the 20 points of Kobe Bryant on Wednesday.
The fourth-year Minnesota player is making his first-ever appearance at the Olympic Games. He and the United States will now face Argentina in the semifinals, with that game scheduled for August 10 at 3:00 p.m. CT.
