Manchester, England (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Another game and another superb performance by a member of the Minnesota Lynx as the United States continues to prepare for the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games.
This time it was Lynx guard Maya Moore who led the Americans, scoring 18 points and addding six rebounds and five assists.
Right behind Moore on the scoresheet was Minnesota guard Lindsay Whalen, who had 13 points and five assists in the winning effort.
The third and final Lynx player on the United States roster is Seimone Augustus, the only among those three who was with the gold medal winning squad in the 2008 Beijing Games.
The Americans open up their Olympic play on July 28 against Croatia. Other teams in the United States' group are China, Angola, Turkey, and the Czech Republic.
